Which would you choose?

This lovely trio of portraits of Molly will be a difficult choice for her owner.   Clockwise from upper left are paintings by Amar Shrestha, Shree Laimecchaine and Sanjib Rana.   The same photo was provided to these three different artists with greatly differing results.   Which would  you choose?

Max, a Lhasa Apso mix, returns to his roots here in the Tibetan neighborhood of Boudha.   Clockwise from upper left, art by Amar Shrestha, Santosh Shrestha (no relation) and Sagar.  Another hard choice, these paintings are painted with synthetic enamel on metal and can be hung indoors or out.

Here are a couple of Nepal Art Dogs waiting for their lettering to dry.  As painted by Megh Raj.

New orders have officially closed for this trip, but I will return in November, 2010, for another round of Nepal Dog Art.   Of course, cats or other pets are welcome, too.   You will receive your pets' portraits well in time for holiday gift giving.   These signboards make the perfect gift for pet lovers who collect art and would like to make a difference in these struggling artists lives.

Micro-finance through art patronage!    Fair Trade Art.

More tomorrow.   Stay tuned.
