Ferreted Out! Danger Ferrets from Nepal
Tibetan Beware of Dog signs!

Australian Danger Dogs from Down Under!

The Danger Dog project has not left out the Antipodes.   Not only do many Australian breeds turn up as subjects, but a few have even been from Australia!

This is Trevor, a Dog from Down Under if I ever saw one!   With this stunning photo to work from, it is no surprise that the art turned out well.   A Jack Russell Terrier, Trevor certainly looks like he is intense in this photo.

This is the portrait that the owners chose, painted by Sabala.   Notice that it says Danger Dog in 3 languages - Nepali, Tibetan and English (clockwise from top left).

This is quite a different version of Trevor, by Shiva Thapa.    The script is in Tibetan and English.   Available.

Trevor by ShaShi of Om Sai Arts in Kathmandu.   Available.

This is Moko, a Belgian Shepherd from Canberra.   Painted by Hari Prasad, this portrait shows off her dramatic markings.   Hari P. forgot to put on the English!   But you will still scare away Tibetan or Nepali burglars (or mail carriers).   Available.

From Prem's studio in the resort town of Pokhara, here is Moko painted by Binod.   Available.

King Luke the Danger Dog by Dilip
This is King Luke.  He is the first and (to date) only King Danger Dog.   As painted by Dilip, Luke looks like an Australian Charles Bronson.  Luke is an Australian Shepherd.  Available.

You can immortalize your dog on metal with a soulful portrait from Nepal.   These talented signboard artists are seeing their livelihoods disappear as digital imagery replaces the lovely traditional artwork on metal.

Send me a photo of your pet and I will give it to 3 signboard artists, giving you a choice of 3 portraits.  3 people get work, you get 3 choices, museum shops get folk art!

You send no money up front.   If you do not like your pet's portrait, you pay nothing.   All 3 artists are paid fair trade wages whether you choose their work or not.  Pay only if you are satisfied.

Each sign is synthetic enamel on metal, approximately 1 foot square.   You choose what you would like them to say.   They can be hung indoors or out.

I have commisioned over 1500 pieces to date, making a real difference to these artists.

I will return from Nepal in early December with new works in plenty of time to deliver for the holidays.

Order your Danger Dog (or Cat or Turtle) today!   Give someone you love a portrait of someone they love.
