Nepal Art Dogs to Exhibit in San Diego
Now in Pacific Grove: How Much is that Dog in the Window?

The Danger Dogs have been invited by gallerist Doris Bittar to be part of the group show 'Nocturne' at the Protea Gallery in the North Park area of San Diego.

The nocturnal theme made it fun to choose which signs might best represent a night time theme.  It was easier to find cats than dogs.

14 artists' work are up in the 25 on the wall, and another 4 artists paintings are in the box below.

There will be a total of 35 artists (besides the 18 Nepali sign painters) showing beginning this evening (through September 7) at Protea.

The opening reception starts at 6pm at Protea Gallery this evening and will be part of San Diego's Ray@Night Art Walk, held every 2nd Saturday of the month.

The address is:

Protea Gallery, 3780 30th St, San Diego, CA  92104  (cross street University)

Hope to see you there.   Please tell your San Diego friends.

The exhibit runs through September 7, 2013.   Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11-6, or by appointment.

Aubert the French BullDog by Sufraj Khadka was sold at Protea Gallery.

Jit Gurung's colorful portrait of Spartapuss the Black Cat in a feather boa atop her mistresses mail also was sold.

Last, but not least, the charming Black Dog Rae by Sagar Bitsa was sold.   This is such a happy portrait that I am not surprised.

The exhibit is up through September 7, there is still time to come by and see the works.

Siggy the Boxer is happy to see us.
