New Finals: Cats from Sagar Bitsa
Live from Kathmandu: Cats, Cats and more Cats

Live from Kathmandu: Frogs and Dogs and a Cat

Danger Dog by Sagar Bitsa

The first ever Danger Frogs have arrived!   This commission was made in honor of a new wine bar in Bed-Stuy in New York City.  The artists were requested to feature a frog, a spilled glass of red wine and 'Danger Frog' in both English and Nepali.  The wine bar is named 'Frog' as one of the co-owners is French.

Danger Frog by Dilip Niroj

Dilip's dyslexia comes into play here in his playful take on a 'Denger Frog'.  Dilip once lettered a portrait of a Rottweiler named Ruby 'Enlightened God'.

Danger From by Sanjib Rana

Sanjib's lovely Danger Frog is a tree frog he found on the web.  There is texture to this portrait, as Sanjib is the only Danger Frog artist to use acrylic paint and not enamel.

Nalu & Treasure by Megh Raj Thapa

Nalu the Labrador and Treasure the Tabby Cat are a nice pair.  Megh Raj has captured Nalu's innocent look and Treasure's intent gaze.

Sagar Bitsa puts the duo on a dramatic black background with the Nepali word Danger on the bottom.  He also plays with the colors of the English lettering.

Sanjib also chose a black background for the twin portrait of Nalu and Treasure.  I think it is interesting that all 3 artists chose to put Nalu on the left and Treasure on the right.

French Bulldog Folk Art
Stuart Little the Frenchie by Sagar Bitsa.

Last, but never least, we have the handsome and studly Stuart Little, a French Bulldog with attitude.  This portrait is by Sagar Bitsa.

Stuart's portrait by Sanjib Rana also captures his direct gaze and adorable paws on green grass.

Dilip adds the Nepali lettering that translates to 'dog here is intelligent'.  Dilip is a huge dog fan that has owned a huge variety of dogs over the years.  He likes Dobermans, Pugs, German Shepherds and mutts!

These are just a few of the orders this trip.  Stay tuned on the Danger Dog Blog for more.  Lots of Cats to come!

To order, please send me a photo of your pet.   I will give it to three different artists, giving you a choice of paintings and three artists will get work.   Each painting is about one square foot and is on metal with enamel paint.   These can be hung indoors or out, be framed or unframed.

Satisfaction is guaranteed as I accept no money up front.   If you do not like one of the three, you pay nothing, and the 3 artists are paid in full in any case.   Let me know what you want it to say and that's it!

Let's keep these artists painting.
